Covid-19 Response Update

May 10, 2020
As the reopening of our country and our economy begins, we join with all Americans to pray that it proceeds quickly and safely. The leaders of our church met this week by zoom teleconference to discuss a reopening plan; its timing and its specifics. Rest assured, every effort is being made to comply with the recommendations from the governor’s office and the CDC. Stay tuned, it won't be long now. We want to assure everyone that our reopening will be safe, reasonable, and doable.

Covid-19 Response
March 16, 2020

In accordance with the governor of Arizona and the recommendations of the
CDC, Centerstage Church and Zao Theatre have made the following decisions:

Public worship and Sunday classes are suspended until further notice. Weekly worship and teaching will be held online until it is once againg safe for public gathering.

The Wednesday morning Intercessary Prayer Team prayer will be meeting via telephone conference at 10:00 a.m.

The mid-week small group Bible Study will meet via Zoom meeting online Thursdays at 7:00 p,m.

The Women’s Conference on March 21 is postponed as well until further notice.

The Zao Theatre production of “Little Shop Of Horrors” has been postponed. Plans are being made to reschedule the show to August 7-22, 2020 as long as it is feasible and in the public interest.

We understand that many questions have arisen. We are attempting to answer
those as quickly as we can. The Board of Elders have met and discussed
at length all of these issues. Be assured that the leaders of the church/theatre
are committing the present circumstances to God, and proceeding with
dependence on Him as the source of wisdom and guidance.

Everyone in the Centerstage Church/ Zao Theatre family should understand
that none of these circumstances have caught God by surprise. He is, as He
always has been, in charge of human affairs.

The Word of God states that God will keep us in perfect peace, those whose
minds are stayed on Him. (Isaiah 26:3) This is as true at this moment as ever
before. Let us remember the Truth of Psalm 46 as well.

With trust in God.
Michael E. Bryce
Pastor, Centerstage ChurchProducer, Zao Theatre

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Psalm 46
