Equine therapy is practiced around the world. Originally used to help patients recover from traumatic injuries, it then became a widely-used therapeutic method to treat physically handicapped individuals. Meeting you where you are.
Being with a horse forces you to pay attention to where you are in that moment. Horses don't live in the past, or look to the future, they are totally in the present. Being around them requires your total focus to be on them. After spending time with a horse, your circumstances may not change, but your perspective will.
